Kasabian: Live
The Kasabian arena tour, with an audience of up to 12,000 people each night, saw Silent take a groundbreaking approach to live music visuals. Utilising a heady mix of 2D and 3D animation, live-action cinematography and visual effects, we crafted a hypnotic narrative for Kasabian's show. Each track explored real-time manipulation of content, with visuals directly affected by sound, the band and the audience.
A collaborative project with Andreas Müller (Nanika), it elevated audiovisual direction for the live environment to the next level. Exploring new technologies including interactive animation, sound analysis, face tracking, audience participation, live social media and live feed translations using custom written software. Each visual element had an aspect of audio reactivity to enhance the experience. Capturing the audience and reflecting an abstracted version of their actions through a myriad of mediums, it was a mind-blowing production.
